The Walk for Literacy is Barakat's flagship fundraiser every year. Since it's inception in 2008 it has raised over $140,000 for education. Without the help of corporate sponsors we would not be able to raise as much as we do each year to support our programs in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
The 10th Annual Walk for Literacy will be taking place on Saturday, September 30th at Cambridge Common Park in Cambridge, MA. Below are the different sponsorship levels available as well as the benefits from each.
